Bracket Champions ($350 for each brackets) $ 700
Grand Champion: (Best of the 2 brackets) $ 300

Contest Format
Thirty minutes before show time, contestants will meet in a orientation meeting and will receive a chord chart of the “changes” they will need to know for the a contest. When competing 2 contestants will be on stage at the same time with the house band that will play simple chord progressions in various music styles: blues, swing jazz, pop (both major and minor progressions) mid-tempo bluegrass and country. Each round will feature two different styles and each contestant will take turns trading their best chops.
Round One: One fast Pop/Rock (Major) and one slow County progression.
Round Two: One slow Blues and one Mid-tempo Bluegrass.
Round Three: One fast swing Jazz and one slow Pop/Rock (minor) progression.
Repeat for Fourth, Fifth, and Sixth rounds.
